Jennifer Seyler is a vision-driven, goal-focused executive with a proven record of achievement and innovated thinking. She has 15+ years’ experience working with CPGs, commodities and non-profits and has established a reputation as a transformational leader who is driven by challenge, undeterred by obstacles, and committed to furthering standards of excellence.
Her knowledge of nutrition combined with her business acumen allows her to provide clients with strategic planning, annual operating plan development, brand positioning, competitive market analysis, influencer marketing and messaging, business development and fundraising, organizational efficiencies, and maximizing revenues, to harnessing team strengths for improved companywide performance.
Seyler is a firm believer in mentorship, understanding the strengths of team members and clients, and guiding them to professional grow. Her ability to build consensus among executive teams and stakeholders to influence positive change has been repeatedly proven. She is currently a mentor within the International Mentoring Association Gold Accredited Elmhurst College Center for Professional Excellence Mentoring Program, a Guest Lecturer for Dominican University teaching nutrition communications, and an Adjunct Professor at Elmhurst College teaching consumer behavior.
She contributes to the growth of the dietetic profession by leveraging her business intellect within a variety of organizations. Seyler serves as the Business Development Chair for the Dietitians in Business & Communications practice group, the Strategy Chair for the Illinois Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Chicago Food & Nutrition Network. She also serves as a Board member on the Elmhurst College MBA Network, which encourages collaboration between existing students and alumni.
Seyler have published 20 plus articles/scientific reports and been referenced as a health expert in numerous consumer and health industry outlets. She is highly certified in the area of fitness and nutrition and an active member within both arenas. Seyler earned her Master in Business Administration in Market Research from Elmhurst College, Strategic Marketing Certificate from Northwestern University, her Master of Science in Nutrition and Registered Dietitian credentials from the University of Illinois, her Bachelor of Arts in biology from Augustana College and her Personal Training credentials from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Seyler also spends her time with her family – husband Eric, Major (7) and Levi (6), and two dogs, Maxi and Sadie – plus running.
